    1st Phoenix Grand Prix Empty 1st Phoenix Grand Prix

    Ok so the idea has been raised to have a Phoenix Grand Prix. The winner of this Tournament will be crowned champion of the Phoenix. Once this Tournament is over and we have a Champion said Champion will have to defend their title. They will need to defend it in Tournaments I’ll host the first month of every season.

    Decks not allowed- Meta, Anti- Meta, Lockdown, Swarm, OTK, FTK, Anti- Heal, Shooting Quasar Dragon

    For the purpose of this Academy the word "Swarm" - means getting 4 or more monsters on the field in a single turn

    The rule on Disconnects- 2 per match once this happens the one with 2 disconnects loses the match

    Siding is allowed but only 1 deck for the entire Tournament

    The matches will be Advanced unrated

    The Championship will start sometime between the 14th and the 21st of June

    The sign up will end Midnight making it the 10th of June.

    If there is a change in anyone's plan please make a note of it here, because I will be making a bracket on the above date so it's done days in advance.

    This Tournament is no longer taking Duelists

    Now for some last minute rules-

    1. make sure you edit your post with a set of real times(ie don't use "if you can find me")

    2. All people on this list must PM me as soon as they see the post(so I have a record that your still in the Tournament Failure to PM me kicks you out of the Tournament)

    3. I will post a Bracket 24 hours before the Tournament starts

    4. a note to all reread the first post I made about the Tournament and make sure your deck fits Failure to fit these guidelines is an automatic loss

    FAILURE  TO FOLLOW ANY OF THESE RULES WILL GET ONE KNOCKED OUT OF THE TOURNAMENT

    FAQ-

    1. Q- I signed up a month ago but my name isn’t on the Bracket?
    A- You must not have sent me a PM on here to make sure(I gave at least 3 or 4 warnings)

    2. Q- There’s 1 open spot can I join at the last minute?
    A- No as it says above I gave plenty of warnings for people to join

    3. Q- Ok so the Tournament is completed does that mean it’s over?
    A- No, in about 3 months we will have another(Part 2) whoever wins the first Grand Prix will get a free pass in the second(they only have to duel whoever wins the second Grand Prix, we duel this way to find the most resent Champion)

    4. Q- The Champion lost to someone other than whomever won the Grand Prix does that mean the winner is the New Champion?
    A- In my opinion NO the Grand Prix Champion had to go through more than one Match to be Crowned so losing said match will not take away any title

    5. Q- Will the Crowned Champion need to stay active?
    A- Of course as founder I like to see people active on here but at the Very least Said Champion will need to Duel in about every 3 months(or until they lose) to defend their Title

    6. Q- How long will I have for a single match?
    A- 1 Full 7 day week(please PM your match up to save time)
