Yes you read correct we are now at Week 19. So now we say hello to the newest form of card- Pendulum Monsters. This Week's congrats goes to Odd Eyes Pendulum Dragon.
Fun Facts-
1. "During your End Phase: You can destroy this card, and if you do, add 1 Pendulum Monster with 1500 or less ATK from your Deck to your hand." effect activates during End Phase and it starts a Chain Link. (This effect does not target.)
2. "destroy this card" and "add 1 Pendulum Monster with 1500 or less ATK from your Deck to your hand." are considered to happen simultaneously.
3. Destroying this card as part of its effect will place it face-up on your Extra Deck, so you can Pendulum Summon it later by using the Pendulum Monster you searched.
4. Use cards that reduce the opponent's monster's attack to 0, so your opponent will take 5000 damage.
Effective cards for this would be "Ghost of a Grudge" and the "Reptilianne" series.
Using the effects of "Mini-Guts" or "Darkworld Shackles" on an opponent's monster alongside this card can create a massive amount of damage, possibly resulting in a OTK if the opposing monster has enough ATK.
By Xyz Summoning "Number 39: Utopia Beyond" and using its effect to reduce the ATK of all monsters your opponent controls to 0, then attacking those monsters with it and this card, you can inflict exactly 8000 damage.
5. This is the cover card for Duelist Alliance.
This is the first cover card in the TCG since Light of Destruction to be printed as a Secret Rare.
This is the first cover card monster since Photon Shockwave "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon" that does not normally fit in the Extra Deck, though it can exist on top of the Extra Deck due to how Pendulum Monsters work.
6. It shares the same ATK as of the other Ace Monsters: "Dark Magician", "Elemental HERO Neos", "Stardust Dragon" and "Number 39: Utopia". These cards are respectively the signature cards of Yugi Muto, Jaden Yuki, Yusei Fudo and Yuma Tsukumo, the previous protagonists from the first four series of the anime.
This card also marks the first time in Yu-Gi-Oh! where the main protagonist has a "(Something)-Eyes (Something) Dragon" Dragon-Type monster as their signature card, rather than their rival.
This is also the second time where a Dragon-Type is the signature card of the protagonist, the first being Yusei Fudo with his "Stardust Dragon".
This is the only signature card of a main protagonist that has been shown to have a comedical side.
