Restored Love

This is a story based on old animated movie I watched.


Master Jack was once again reflecting on his life, when the door opened and someone approached his shelf and lifted him upwards.

"Who is there?"

"It's me, your queen." a voice said "I did say I would come back for you one day. And you said that you want me to return the locket when I do. So here it is." she added, taking a locket from her neck and putting it around Jack's neck.

"Yes, I remember...."

(flashback)

"We don't have enough room in here now." she told Jack sadly "But I promise I will come back for you one day."

"I am counting on that." master Jack said "Prove me wrong about your kind, my queen."

"I will." Catherine said

(end flashback)

Catherine hugged him and he hugged her back.

Love they had was unusual, but many things were unusual as well.

"There is someone else who wanted to see you. Sarah!"

And her tiny sister came running. She frowned when she saw Jack.

Then she crossed her arms in an angry way.

"Look, Sarah, I am sorry." master Jack said "I was wrong back then and I regret it. But I have changed? Can you believe me?"

Sarah smiled at that and nodded.

"Then...." Catherine said "I guess there is no harm in staying."

And then she cut off a bit of her hair. Master Jack nodded and opened the locket.

"Ten seconds." he informed

All three began to count down. Finally, the time struck and with it, Catherine became smaller once more.

"I get to live with my sister and my love and never worry about outside world ever again." Catherine said

"True." master Jack agreed

Catherine put her left arm on his back and her right arm on Sarah's back and they walked down the familiar path, this time willingly.
