The Boat Docks

Akinori stepped off of the boat as soon as it docked. He was wearing his traveling outfit, since he didn't have time to change on the boat. Nori stretched out and said "Man, it feels nice to be back on solid ground, again." He then took a second to look at the new academy and it's glory. "This place is amazing!" he exclaimed. "It truely brings back memories." He then remembered why he had come here in the first place. "Well, I guess I should head to the headmaster's office." He started casually walking towards the main building.

Sai was not having a good morning... he couldn't get any sleep the previous night, because he was dry heaving in reaction to his land-lubber legs, and since he was uncomfortable on the bed in the "cubicle room" he was assigned, he ended up sleeping in the crows nest underneath Dark Simorghs protective wings with only the soothing wind to tame his nausea... He was aching all over when he woke.... and With the docks only a few hours away Sai decided to review his deck contents before he arrived in order to prepare for the academy ahead....he hoped it could be his home.....with wind sweeping his clothes making them whip against his body he stood at the front of the boat and waited for arrival....*flashback* after the alley he ran and ran until he collapsed in the rain spattered street.... as he gained the strength he looked up and saw a flyer for a duel academy island which for some reason made him raise his exhausted and now heavy body up to take a closer look... it said a ferry would take you the next day to an island dedicated to teaching people how to duel and a place to make friends...he looks to his friend for any response... Dark Simorgh did with "screech....KAW"....which made Sai laugh while saying "I'm assuming that's a, lets go!"... Dark Simorgh ruffled his wings a little....Sai stated "Then it's settled we leave tomorrow..." .....*end flashback* ..... as the boat lurched closer to the docks it began too sprinkle...and by the time they reached the shoreline it was pouring rain....Sai quickly gathered his things and put on his backpack... he didn't like rain much so he planned on getting out of it ASAP..... When the boat arrived he jumped off and ran down the docks like wind soaring through an open field...he then continued to follow the worn path running past scraggly outstretched branches that grabbed and scratched at his now sweaty flesh but he kept splashing foward...he finally reached the base of the stairway leading to the entrance...he stopped for a second to take it all in... then he dashed up the remaining steps and barged through the doors letting in the windy wetness....to be continued...

Yendys stood on the deck of his boat, with Emag, his eagle, soaring overhead, as they sped closer to Phoenix Duel Academy. The driver, per Yendys's request, drives sideways by the docks and keeps moving as Yendys leaps off the boat onto the dock and nearly falls into the water, but he regains his balance. "Need to work on that, Yendys," he muttered to himself. Then, through his mind, he said to Emag: Come on, Emag, let's go! Emag shrieked out loud, then responded, I know. I'm going to follow you overhead. Let's hurry to the headmaster's office so that we can inform him we're here. Yendys nods, then takes his Duel Disk out of his backpack and puts it on his wrist, and also puts his deck in a small box that hangs off Yendys's belt. Satisfied that he's prepared, Yendys walks along the path toward the building in the center of the island.
