Alright so this week's Card is a bit of an Older pick, however I find it Very useful in most situations. This week we talk once again about Spell cards our pick? Burden of the Mighty.
Fun Facts-
1. If you have multiple copies of this card face-up on the field, their effects will accumulate.
2. This effect is applied continuously and does not use the Chain.
3. "Ritual Buster" only prevents the activation of Spell and Trap Cards, and the activation of the effect of Spell and Trap Cards which are already face-up on the field. It does not prevent Spell and Trap Cards like "Burden of the Mighty" and "Gravity Bind" with Continuous Effects from applying their effects.
4. If your opponent has this card on the Field while you want to Synchro Summon, you can activate "Star Changer" or any other Spell that lowers Level to minimize the loss.
5. Combo with "Final Attack Orders" to get through high-DEF monsters.
6. In episode 149, Adrian Gecko uses this card during his Duel against Jesse Anderson while the latter was possessed by Yubel. After this card was activated, "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder" lost 1000 ATK as it was Level 10. After "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames" was Special Summoned, it lost 1000 ATK due to it being a Level 10 monster. Jesse then equips "Eternal Reverse" to "Uria" and activates the second effect of "Eternal Reverse" to set this card face down and render its effect useless. Jesse then activates the second effect of "Uria" to destroy this card.
